Panthea Football Club was established in June 2005 by Theo Constantinou and his family. Panthea entered the 2nd division of KOPA and started very well. They finished the season as runners up and had been promoted to the first division.

The 2006-07 season started eventfully with a well deserved win over the champions Aris. The team were confidently progressing in the LFA cup competition. At the half way point the team found themselves in the relegation zone, with the critics predicting a quick return to the second division.

During the mid season break it was decided that certain changes needed to be implemented throughout the club. One of these significant changes included the arrival of our coach, Danny Bailey, who proved to be a fantastic acquisition.

The second half of the season presented a tense relegation battle. It was a challenge that Panthea rose to, producing some sensational performances and results. The team successfully pulled themselves out of the relegation zone, ensuring survival in the first division.

Panthea play fluent and attractive football that is admired throughout the KOPA community. This was never more evident than during the Christos Petrides 7 a side tournament where the team emerged as competition winners, producing some fantastic football along the way that was appreciated by all.

We hope that this season can be even more successful for not only Panthea first team, but also the introduction of Panthea’s youth team into KOPA’s youth division.
