The torrential morning rain made conditions difficult for both teams but it was Dynamo Athletic who adjusted the better as they won with some ease. The teams struggled early on as the heavy pitch meant many passes went astray. Dynamo Athletic soon began to take control of the game and went in front on 24 minutes when a cross by Lawrence Rispoli was turned in by Anthony MacDonald. AC Varosi Pendayia continued to toil for the remainder of the half but held out until the interval. Five minutes into the second period, Dynamo Athletic struck again to put themselves into a commanding position. A long throw by Matthew Gibbons was flicked on by Chris Charalambous into the path of Alex Violaris to make it 2-0. AC Varosi Pendayia were up against it now but it was Dynamo Athletic who continued to look dangerous in front of goal. In the 80th minute, the hosts added a third goal when Lawrence Rispoli's corner was met with a thumping header by Chris Kanaris.
