AC Varosi Pendayia 2 v New Salamis 8

Ten minutes into the game and AC Varosi Pendayia found themselves three goals adrift as New Salamis threatened to run up a cricket score. Goals from George Gregoriou, Kyri Kyprianou and Richard Georgiou via the penalty spot put New Salamis into a commanding position. Once AC Varosi Pendayia had recovered from the shock they took the game to New Salamis and pulled two goals back before the break through Vas Nicou and David Boal. Any chance of the comeback being completed evaporated a minute into the second half when Georgiou converted his second penalty. Gregoriou and Kyprianou quickly added further goals as New Salamis raced into a 6-2 lead before the hour mark. James Alexander added a seventh before Georgiou went on to complete his hat-trick.
