There was little to split the teams early on with both looking to make the breakthrough in the opening exchanges. AC Varosi Pendayia were sharper in their play as Panthea took time to settle. Riaz Daniels’ half volley put AC Varosi Pendayia into an 18th minute lead before Panthea began to get on top as the half wore on. The second half saw Panthea bossing the game with AC Varosi Pendayia having to rely on swift counter attacks for their chances. In the 55th minute, Panthea drew level when Alex Roussis headed in. The momentum was firmly with Panthea now and they grabbed the winner through substitute Sean Bennett-Johnson who drilled in an 18-yard volley.
