Free kick specialist Lawrence Constanti proved to be the difference as his two goals set up the win for Tripimeni-Aris. The visitors accounted themselves well in the early exchanges but Constanti’s free kick on 12 minutes found its way to the top corner of the AC Varosi Pendayia goal to give Steven Cinoti’s team the lead. AC Varosi Pendayia matched Tripimeni-Aris for most of the first half and got a deserved equalizer from Gokmen Dogan in the 26th minute. Tripimeni-Aris stepped up a gear and were back in front before the break as Constanti cleverly placed a free kick into the AC Varosi Pendayia net. The second half saw Tripimeni-Aris waste several good opportunities to make the game safe while AC Varosi Pendayia rarely threatened to snatch a point.
